Annual Picnic 2021

Thank you all for attending the Picnic on August 14th and making the event a fun and memorable one. 

Special thanks to the volunteers who had come forward to help and organize such an event.  We would like to thank Rashmoni (Mona) and Malay for all the pre arrangements for the event. We had outstanding help from Debashish, Raja, Arya, Joybrata and Dip to get all the fresh off the grill items. We thank Ankur for the last minute delightful addition of bhelpuri. Also we thank Raj and Sayan for running errands and arranging items on time.   

Thank you Rituparna for arranging all the games and activities with support from Amara and Raisa.  

We hope you have all enjoyed the day and will be looking forward to having you all in our upcoming events.

Hemanta Utsav 2021

With great pleasure, Parichoy announces Hemanta Utsav 2021 to be held at 

Alexandria Room, 
Edmond Town Hall
45 Main Street, Newtown, CT.

Program Schedule :      

 3:00 PM – 4:45 PM – Kids Performances

4:45 PM – 5:00 PM – Break 

 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM – Group and Individual performances

We prefer to meet you all in-person following social distancing rules.

Please join us and encourage our performers. We all together are seeing our little stars grow, acquire and enhance their talents and stay connected to the culture. We feel proud to be associated with you and we welcome you all to be a part of it.

2020 was an unprecedented year by any standards. Our graduates of 2021 despites of the limited resources did a phenomenal work to keep up with their academics and graduated the class.

Congratulations Dr. Sankar Ghosh

Award-winning immunologist Sankar Ghosh, PhD, was elected to the National Academy of Sciences in recognition of his distinguished and continuing achievements in original research. He is among 120 newly elected members announced by the Academy on April 26, 2021.

Dr Ghosh is a renowned Immunologist. He is the Chairman and Silverstein and Hutt Family Professor of Microbiology & Immunology in Columbia University Medical Center.
Member of National Academy of Science, a recognition that is only awarded to a few. As a national academy, new members of the organization are elected annually by current members, based on their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research. Election to the National Academy is one of the highest honors in the scientific field.

We were grateful to have Dr Ghosh to speak to our young members and explain his work.
